Completion of tithe slips. – Funds donated but not allocated on offering slip will go to that weeks offering except for loose offering which goes to the church budget.
Memorial Service for Elsie Kwiram - There will be a Memorial Service held for Elsie Kwiram (nee Penner) at the Rutland Seventh-day Adventist Church on October 12 at 3:00 pm. Elsie passed away in her sleep with family at her side on July 23, 2025. She is buried beside her beloved husband Bernard (Ben) Kwiram in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. All are welcome to this celebration and remembrance of her life and accomplishments.
Celebration of Life for Dennis Fortney will be at 10:30 am on Sunday, October 19 at the Wildwood Church.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes – It’s time to start preparing our shoeboxes! Kelly Fisher is already gathering supplies and encourages you to pick up a box and fill it or donate funds and items while school supplies are on sale. Urgent need: new toothbrushes (especially if you have dental office connections). Kelly is also looking for a vacuum sealer to help pack stuffed animals and clothing more efficiently. A shoebox can change a child’s life!
Okanagan Adventist Choir & Symphony has started practicing for the Christmas Concert! You are invited to join us if you are a musician or singer. OKay Evening Corn Maze – Tonight – 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Kelowna Fruit n Veggies, 2190 Cooper Rd. All Teens ages 13-19 welcome! Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. Parents, please arrange drop off & pick up at scheduled times. $5 per teen, includes maze, hot drink & snacks.
OCS Needs You! Okanagan Christian School is hosting over 300 students for the CASA Football Tournament, Oct. 16–19. Donations of fruit and baked items (muffins, cookies, granola bars, etc.) are needed. Please email homeandschool@ocskelowna.com if you can help.
Volunteers Needed – OCS CASA Football Tournament
October 16–19, OCS will be hosting the CASA Football Tournament, serving hundreds of meals to students and staff. This is a big undertaking, and we need your help with shopping, meal prep, serving, and clean-up. Opportunities include breakfasts, lunches, and suppers throughout the weekend. Join us for The Final Hope series—an inspiring journey through Bible prophecy and God’s promises for the end times.
Good News Weekend – Join us October 17-19 at Kelowna Church as Pastor Dan Wilson presents a weekend of inspiring messages under the theme One God – One Gospel. Beginning Friday evening at 6:00 pm with soup and buns, continue Sabbath morning and service, followed by a potluck lunch), and gather again for Vespers and Sunday morning session with a pancake breakfast.

Silver Paws Adventurer Club International Dinner – October 19, 5–7 pm – Join us at Kelowna Church (Springfield Rd) for an evening of delicious international food, a cultural fashion and talent show, and fellowship—all in support of raising funds for a camp kitchen tent.
